I am serving my notice period in one of the IT company where I am working from 2 years. I am working as Dot Net Senior Developer. I joined this job after 5 years of break which I took to take care of my son Pranav.
I took this decision as I was not able to manage things. I felt many times like, let me spend quality time with my son staying at home. I used to be always in hurry both physically and mentally as to cope with both work and home.
I am not having any regret on leaving this job as I have clarity what I am doing. but may be I will miss some social life like friends, colleagues at office with whom I used to spend sometime apart from work.
One more thing which I will miss is my earnings. for this I haven't planned anything yet, may be will try to do something from home if I can.
There are many options to do from home in our leisure time. But may be every Home Maker should be able to check what the options that are feasible for her if she is interested to earn from Home.
Lately, I am just checking out like what options are available to work from home in the internet and I came across many posts/blogs/videos listing them.
Few things which I have found interesting are YouTube Channel, Blogging and so on.
But for YouTube channel, there are two things which I felt are most important things to consider.
One is, 'Content' on which we would like to create Videos. Second, am I ready to face the camera.
There are still quite a few channels which still are having good earnings where the actual person is creating videos without showing them on screen like, Videos created using Screen recorder explaining some tutorials, cooking by showing just the pan and ingredients and just giving voice over on top of that.
But still I am not sure on what to do. will figure it out slowly as the main reason I have quit is to spend time with Pranav.
This is one side of my life what is happening and other side is this Corona Virus which is creating lot of panic in whole world especially China.
I started writing this Blog to just share what I am going through in this phase of life. I just started writing without any Prior Preparation as I just want to pen down my thoughts instantly.
Everyone are scared if they cough or sneeze. People stopped going outside to limit the risk of getting affected by such a dangerous virus. I am writing this blog from my office as my manager rejected to give permission to work from home.
Still half of the floor is empty. people started using more sanitizers. avoided eating outside. and list goes so on. world wide so many precautions have been taken care as number of people dying in China is just increasing day by day.
The people getting affected with COVID-19 is just exponentially increasing in some of the countries all over the world.
In this Situation, based on my resignation, we also are in dilemma to take decisions on which place, school to go so that it would become affordable for us.
As none of my family members are interested to stay in Whitefield, Bangalore which we opted 2 years ago just for my job purpose, we decided to move out from this area.
But still, not yet decided whether to move internally some other place or to relocate to different place.
So at this point of time, I myself don't know what is going to happen, how our life changes. I have to wait and see.
